A Low Key Weekend!

Jacob is into his backpack right now.. I can't help to love how cute it is when he wears it around..I took some pictures because it was just too funny! (he thought so too!)

We had a great, low key weekend. Nothing really planned, which was actually very nice! It was a bit chilly, but still nice and we managed to get outside a bit for a few walks and play time. Of course I took some pictures so I can share with all of you! I sure can't wait till my birthday (or maybe mother's day ;) for my new camera.. I am getting so annoyed with the delay my camera has!

The first picture was Jacob as he went up and down and up and down and up and down the stairs! ;) This next one was him playing with his new kitchen. It is now down in the basement, but we has cleaned it off and it was drying outside before taking it in. (he is in his pj's ... well, just his bottoms )

This weekend we went to Kyle and Sarah's wedding! It was so much fun and wonderful to see all of our BG friends!

These pictures are just the cutest! About a month ago, Jacob, Logan and I got stranded in the car because Aunt Michele forgot to give me the carseat after she left strollerfit.. so the boys played in the back seat and shared some goldfish and I got some great shots of the two of them! My favorite is the one of them kissing!

I finally got some pictures downloaded.. these first ones are from Erik's wedding! We had a great time and Jacob got to stay up till 10:00 and dance! :)

Goofy I know, but we got a play kitchen today for Jacob!

Jacob loves playing with my pots and pans, dishes, cups, opening and closing cabnet doors and basically playing with everything in my kitchen! He also loves the play kitchen at his sitters house, SOO.. we got one today! It was used and we got it for 1/4 of what we would pay for it new. Kevin and I spent an hour cleaning it up tonight, but now it looks great! Jacob already loves it! In case you are interested here is it is!

I still need to upload pictures to my computer.. I lost the adapter, so I have to borrow my mothers... I forgot to get it today, so tomorrow I will upload pictures.. maybe even some of Jacob playing with his kitchen! :)

Jacob - 16 months and more fun than ever!

Our little man is 16 months and we can't believe it! He is growing up so quickly! Although sometimes I wish I could freeze time and keep him a baby forever... each new day brings so many great new memories and stories to hold onto. Kevin and I just love being parents more than we ever could have imagined. We certainly feel blessed each and every day!

Jacob leaves us laughing every single day! He has such a sweet, sweet, sweet personality! He is always happy (well almost always) and loves to cuddle and be with his family! He reminds me a lot of Kevin! He is very sensitive and laid back, but very happy and loves his family!

Jacob is starting to talk more and more. It is getting easier to understand what he is saying. However, a lot of the time, it still sounds like he is talking German. It is hysterically to listen to! We have taught him sign language which he has been doing for a while. His favorite words to say are "please", "more" and "eat". Right now his favorite things to do are play outside in his sand box, push his play lawnmower around on the deck or open and shut the screen door going out back and laugh at his mom and dad on the other side of the door. We are so excited it is finally getting nice outside! It just makes us all so much happier to be able to get outside and see the sun shinning!

Well, I have many pictures I need to download on my computer, so hopefully this week, I will post some updated pictures of Jacob!

Today I decided to start a blog!

I have been thinking about doing this for a while, but today, I finally decided to start a blog! What a wonderful way to keep family and friends up to date on the happenings of our lives.. especially the life of our little man, Jacob!
